I don't recall anything more than a little discomfort from the vasectomy permanent birth control sterilization surgery procedure . I was awake during the operation under local anaesthesia watching the nurses assisting with smiles on thier faces enjoying thier work.

As far as a sexual life, this was one of the best things for a contraceptive other than when my wife was on the pill.

There is no fumbling for condoms or waiting for her to put in the diaphram. Either one of you are in the mood. I also know that my wife was very relieved of not getting pregnant.

My orgasms were the same but I think the ejaculation fluid didn't shoot as much. Although I couldn't tell the difference.

I did a lot of research and in the end decided the vasectomy sterilization procedure is still the best option for a contraceptive. I already have two kids and I wouldn’t change that for anything, but also don’t want to have anymore children and I hate condoms. I was really only worried about the potential long term complications.

Short term complications I decided I could deal with.

The chance of long term complications is very low. I decided that the risk of another pregnancy far out weighed the risks associated with the permanent birth control vasectomy sterilization procedure.
